Encaustic art is learning how to melt beeswax which is coloured onto special paper which can be manipulated into different designs.
You can learn how to make special cards and bookmarks with hot irons which are used to make pictures. These can then be framed in cardboard card holders .e.

You end up with a lovely card which has been created by you (the artist). These are given to friends and loved ones as gifts. The process is very therapuetic and once you start it's difficult to stop.

Everyone can make a different picture and time just passes by so quickly when you are doing something you love.
